I would say one Pi3 is more than capable of doing more than one job at a time. LMS is not demanding, even with lame mp3 encoding.
I have a Pi3 that's more than capable of running full speed arcade machine emulation at the same time as "motion" security camera type stuff at the same time as running a weather station data gathering program at the same time as running a software music player app.. the only thing that stresses the CPU is the emulation, which can actually only use two of the four cores anyway. -Transcoded from Matt's brain by Tapatalk- -- Hardware: 3x Touch, 1x Radio, 2x Receivers, 1 HP Microserver NAS with Debian+LMS 7.9.0 Music: ~1300 CDs, as 450 GB of 16/44k FLACs. No less than 3x 24/44k albums.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ drmatt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59498 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107745 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
