I see some LMS changes being made to try to improve this (password needed to get to settings from outside). Of course, it will need people to update their LMS to do it but a good first step.
That's correct. I was fighting over this myself. But looking at open systems there obviously are quite a few who do install updates. I might actually do a release in the near future to push the changes out to users of the "stable" release, too.
