Ok, finally that worked! I had to download a to-flac converter for mac. Converted the AIFF files to flac on my home mac, and then copied to my external drive. Scanned, and it all showed up, artwork and everything. Ok, so what is my lesson going forward here? I still don't really understand why this would be necessary. Do I have to plan to re-convert every digital album I download on to my work mac? Is there any reason I might not have to do this with my home mac ?
