Yes, I hadn't got around to restarting all the other devices that were
connected to the old AP, so maybe one of those was blasting something
nasty onto the airwaves.  Still don't understand why the glitches
persisted when I reinstated the Airport instead of the mesh, nor why the
glitches didn't happen in the last minute or so of a track, even though
they came every 37s during the song.

I'm not going to lose sleep over it though - everything's been running
fine since the change of SSID.  It's a bit annoying that I've had to
disable the 802.11r 'fast roaming' to allow the wireless Boom to
connect.  I might switch that Boom over to wired so that I can make the
most of that feature.  Typical isn't it - I buy a super-duper new wifi
system and have to switch at least one device to wired.
