I am skeptical of that reasoning, but maybe that explains why this option is available under audio settings. I could never understand why anyone would want to invert polarity on both channels. There are situations where inverting polarity on one channel might make sense, because it's easier than redoing the wiring. LMS 8 nightly running on Raspberry Pi OS.
