Back to your initial request, there is no provision for doing that in
slimproto (the protocol between LMS and its players). You need to use a
transcoder in LMS that will do the job or swapping channel (in other
words you decode, swap, then re-encode on the server) or you replace the
SB2 with a device (Pi or other) that has Optical and can do the swap
locally by tweaking its output. I can do that easily in any squeezelite
implementation if the sound driver (optical) does not let you do this,
but it will e a custom version.
