you will see alot of people use a raspberry Pi single board computer with PiCore Player, Max2Play, etc. You can add a Hat to provide analog or digital output, and a screen. There is also a Polyvection device (DAC32?) that allot of people seem to like, I have not tried one. I use a raspberry pi3b+ running LMS on Picore Player with a 2TB HDD for my library, about a $100USD solution, can't beat that. I don't run it as a player too, but many do. Having said all of that, I am still buying logitech squeezebox devices on ebay (Radios, Touch, Boom, I would not by another Duet/Receiver). I love them and used they are a great value. Really well engineered. Radios for about $60USD in the US, compared to $300 MSRP I think. Touches less than $150USD. I think I have a bit of a problem (e.g. I have about 3 radios as "spare"). It seems that many might have been just sitting in a box, so they still have alot of life. I have gotten a couple that still had protective film on them!
