Is the red led on? Yes Does the green led blink as you boot? Yes Is your ethernet cable known good? I bought it with the Raspberry pi from PiShop.us. But I didn't think of it causing a problem. So after reading your post I swapped it out with another cable plugged in to another socket. No good; same result. Is the port on your router known good? Yes, confirmed. I really thank you all on this forum for your continued help.
