Well, the issue of the remote was easy. The Duet Controller works perfectly. I'll keep it. Plus I also now understand what was meant when said, "...for a controller, I just grab whatever is handy, controller, phone, desktop." I was doing likewise last night.
Now looking back this all seems so easy.
