not sure but I imagine that the longer the averaged reading the better. Maybe I'll try pulling mine out and putting it on my pcp server. Here's from their manual. Interesting that the accuracy for current is measured in "arms". Darn proof reader! :) Not very helpful in that it says 0-15A, accuracy max 1% which would imply accurate at trickle currents, but who knows...
