This x10 regarding PSUs. Ninety percent of the problems I see with the older SBs now are just a fading supply. The original supplies are now 15+ years old in many cases. It's the very first thing to check when one starts misbehaving. I just had to revive a Classic that was buffering out and randomly freezing up. Still dragging along on the OE PSU. Sure enough, a fresh supply brought it back strong. A couple buffs with Scratch-X, and that 'dying' Classic looks like it just came from the factory. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sgmlaw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13995 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116077 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
