My SB3 is continually crashing when being used with wireless connection. No real pattern to when or why, but usually within 1 to 5 minutes of establishing connection, whether playing music or not. This is proper lock-up - cannot re-set by holding power button for 5 seconds. Only option is to unplug.
HOWEVER, when connected via ethernet cable, SB3 works perfectly. I've not sen any other posts on this subject, so would like to hear if anyone else suffering the same. If I can't resolve this one, the SB3 is destined for the returns dept. Details as follows : - SB3 firmware v28 and SlimServer v6.2.1 - Connecting to Netgear DG834G router - latest firmware v3.01.25 - no wireless encryption or password - Signal strength 90% + - Tried a variety of different wireless channels (01-13) - Tried static and auto-DHCP IP address assignment - Windows XP firewall (set to allow ports 3483 & 9000, as required) - Prior to crashing, appears to loose connection to wireless network (unable to ping from SlimServer PC).
