Hi, I bought the squeezebox 3 two days ago and I am expereincing major problems when streaming FLAC files wirelessly. While internet radio and MP3 files do not create any problems, FLAC files' streaming is plagued by constant dropouts of the song, as if there was not a sufficient amount of wireless band. My wireless server is a netgar MIMO model, and wireless connection is reported to be fine. Given FLAC support should be embedded, I wonder why the problem affects only FLAC files (and WAV files) and not MP3 files. Unfortunately, I am not in the position to try a wired connection between the squeezebox and the PC.
Any suggested solution from anyone who has experienced a similar problem and wanted to stick to wireless? Please note that I have ready many posts on the subject and the suggested solutions do not seem to work for me. Thanks in advance!
