My headphones (old Sony CD250s) worked fine on my SB2. However the plug does not fit in the socket on my new SB3?
I assume there must have been a part change. Suddenly the plug bottoms out with 1/8" to go. I can only make contact with the L headphone output - if I back it out I briefly get R output, but I can no longer get both at the same time. Do others experience this? Is this a newer socket standard? Are adapters available? I also have a patch cord from a different manufacturer with a similar plug that also bottoms out. I believe both plugs are standard 1/8" "stereo mini".
