Yes, I've reduced the connections and tried several other things. I can tune in stations manually but not through shoutcast. On slimserver I get the above error saying "There was an error parsing the stream information. Try reducing the number of streams if you've set a great number. (2)"
One thing we haven't tried: the -d_plugins debug parameter. Could you try to run "slim.exe -d_plugins" from the command line and report, what it's saying when you access Shoutcast for the first time?
And did you consider going back to 6.2.x - Lazy search is still available for this version. And 6.5 is considered experimental (though I haven't heard of problems specific to shoutcast).
