Qnap TS-101 in "goes into stand-by" shocker! The change to the browser refresh option works once you have updated the firmware on the box. My settings: Slimserver - Interface - Browser Update - 86400 seconds Qnap TS-101 - System settings - Hardware - Stand by if not accessed for 10 minutes. (not sure about the Qnap menu structure as I'm at work now) The hard disk goes into stand-by (stops spinning) but the unit remains warm, even overnight due to all the chippery still generating heat. So now I have a Qnap TS-101 running slimserver, that I can upload music to, goes into stand-by, is completely stable, silent and streams to softsqueeze using about 200bits of my wireless bandwidth. now to buy some squeezeboxes... -- Sanctum ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sanctum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4572 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20393 _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
