Paul Are you saying FLAC sounds better than Apple Lossless?
I tried FLAC but having to rip every CD twice (second time for my iPod) seemed like a bit of a waste of time. To my ears there was no difference in sound quality (through an £80k audio system) although EAC/FLAC has a wonderful 'geek' feel about it! For me iTunes was easier and more practical, and with a 60g iPod capacity the common Audio coding made the choice a no brainer. Let me know when AAC is available.
