I think lots of people do - I've been using uncompressed WAV for years, to a mixture of SB1, 2 and 3. Even an 802.11b connection should be able to run a couple of streams at once with no drop outs.
You need a good signal, so check the signal strength and add amplification if it's not high enough, and change the channel if you suspect you're getting interference. Also, despite what I said about 11b use 11g if at all possible (which means ALL the devices on the network have to be 11g). If you still have problems take a look at the performance monitoring tool in slimserver to see exactly what the problem is. -- radish ------------------------------------------------------------------------ radish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=77 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24390 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
