I am also very interested in seeing how this flies with the high-end
community.  I think this could be the machine that pushes computer
audio into the audiophile mainstream.  I can visualize a high % of demo
rooms at high-end shows employing this as a front end, and Slim may gain
a lot of audio specialty shops as brick-and-mortar dealerships.

In fact, there could be a niche career for experienced Squeezebox nerds
to become Transporter consultants, helping more traditional (stuffy,
older, non-geek) audiophiles get up to speed with the intricacies of
file formats, networking, ripping and tagging, server hardware, etc.
