Heresy I know, but I'm considering using an SB3 as an alarm clock :) To that end I'd like to plug some passive speakers into the headphone jack - active speakers having this annoying hiss when they're powered on.
(I'm also planning on connecting some powered speakers via the RCA jacks for general listening). Now, I note that the SB3 has a minimum 16 ohm requirement for the headphone jack, but can't find any passive speakers as high as 16 ohms. Does anybody have any recommendations, or even know any active speakers that won't exhibit hiss (I'd probably not want to spend more than $200 on decent speakers).
