Right now I'm using 'this wet battery' (http://www.batterywholesale.com/battery-store/proddetail.html?prodID=122). I think it's intended for a moped or scooter or something because it's small and lightweight. Don't know how long it will last, but the DC power supply output on the SB3 is rated 5V @ 2A (i.e., 10 watts). The wet battery is 6V, 12ampHours (i.e., will provide 1amp for 12 hours @ 6V), so theoretically I think it should last about 6 hours if there really is a 2 amp draw from the SqueezeBox3. I have an auto battery charger to charge it. The nice thing is the size: > > LENGTH: 5.95 in > WIDTH: 1.97 in > HEIGHT: 3.70 in > and only 4 pounds! However, I'm thinking of trying a small UPS instead. That way I don't need a car battery charger. I think 'this' (http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=BE350R&total_watts=50) is the smallest one made by APC, and it's way bigger and heavier (and has more power, of course) than what I have now.
