Exactly. I think financial performance is the key word here. Being part
of a large company can be an advantage. There are more funds available
to get through a dry period. The downside is that a product line will
get dropped more easily. In the end a product has to perform
financially or it will be gone sooner or later regardless of the size
of the company behind it.
