it forget all my plugins and prefs if i do? (i installed 6.5.0 right on
top of 6.3.1 and that made a mess i still have, not sure how best to fix
it)

Testing agains the www.LION-Radio.org website and playing a High Quality Media Stream to Windows Media Player I'm having the same problem. I think you might need to contact the Radio Station.
