I have the same problems you report. It all started with version 650. The SB just sits there with the message "server waking up " or something like it. In all the weeks since my upgrade I may have listened to music for a couple of hours. Gladly I still have the CDs. What an irony.
This is really NOT a way to enjoy an equipment. I am getting somewhat tired. In the evenings, I want to be a user, not a software engineer. I heard that Apple will come up with some iTV device.
