Since upgrading to 6.5.0 and then 6.5.1 I've had similar problems on occasion. My normal fix is that when the SB fails to connect on the first attempt, I:
- turn it on again - let it get past "Waking up SlimServer..." - when it gets to "Connecting to SlimServer..." - press the left arrow on the remote - SB now says "Connect to <name> at <ip address>?" - press the right arrow - SB now connects properly - but usually goes into standby - one more push of the red button turns it on I've never had this not work (so far - touch Formica). I've not managed to work out why this happens sometimes but not others.
