OK, I have tried rescanning with the d_scan flag set in Debugging and all I get see on the log when I click on the link is: "Setup::rescan - initiating scan of type: [wipecache]."
After several minutes of scanning I then get the standard Widows XP crash message saying scanner.exe has crashed. It also refers to per58.dll which I assume is perl. After the crash, nothing else is listed in the Slimserver log. Is there some more detailed log file I should be opening instead of just clicking on the log link? The fact that the scan runs successfully for some time before crashing and Slmserver lists 800+ albums after crashing makes me think the core protion of the scna succeeds. Something towards the end is making it crash. Anyone have any more suggestions? I thought the d_scan flag would be more verbose that just giving me the inital startup listing.
