Peter, You hit the nail on the head with what I was waffling on about. Moose is fast as a client to access the backend Slimserver.
I don't like the interface of Moose but only because I love Fishbone. But Moose is very fast in comparison to web interface. Personaly I agree with a nice broad spectrum of OS. Linux is wonderfully customisable (both a strength and weakness), Macs have a wonderful interface.
