Hey Adam, although OP apparently knows how to implement your advice, I'm too inexperienced to understand what you mean by: "map network drives from computers b, c, and d on computer a; make a directory on computer a which contains symlinks or aliases or shortcuts (depending on the OS you run) to those directories." How do you "map network drives" on XP and on OSX? If I could do that, I could simplify my choices too! So far, I've just been picking one or the other computer, thought that was the best I could do. At least it works, though!
