Oh sure, so could I. But that would mean i would have to boot my office PC 1st , which means it is most likely quicker to use the "SneakerNET" and run downstairs to the server which is already running. Another interesting point the other gentleman mentioned is copyright. If you could "read only" from the SB USB port, that might get around copyright issues...if that was a concern... I don't know about you, but i am always trying to show "how cool" the Slim Device product line is to friends and family. Plugging in a thumbdrive into the side of silverbox (SB) and grabbing the remote to hit play is cool and pretty easy. Running around for 10 minutes to play a few songs thats not so cool, or easy. It's kind of a step back, from when your friends would drop by with a new CD and you would drop it in the CD player and hit play. Don't get me wrong, I still think the SB is the coolest combo of music and networking to ever come along, it's in my system to stay.. Apparently so are sneakers ;) Scott -- sfraser ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sfraser's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2026 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32922 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
