My wife has accepted the SS/SB wholeheartedly - but rejects the remote. "Her" stereo NAD/PSB is adjacent in the open office(SS) sitting area in the front of the house, the SB is connected to "my" stereo Bryston/energy in the TV lounge at the back of the house. She only asks of me to have the inputs on the "go between" pre-Amp to direct the signal to her stereo and she listens mainly while working at the PC. These rooms are on the 2nd level of the house - the kitchen/dining/sunroom on the first level all have inwall or ceiling speakers fed from one of the upstairs systems. So the audio side of things is fairly 'simple'. It is the lighting where she says if I should die first - if any of the X10 integrated alarm system/programs failed, she wouldn't even know where to begin. And the house would be unsellable. Also I can't get her to switch from IE to FireFox!!
