AFAIK You can't just buy another WAP and put it next to your SB. The WAP needs to be connected to something. Usually it is connected over a wire to your router/access point but it may also be possible wirelessly. But when you have everything running switch to using WPA instead. I use two WAP's. The second one is connected to the first one via ethernet. Together they can handle the whole house.
