No, but with Transporter it will be much easier to hear exactly how bad a bad stream sounds. :) Seriously though, on the basis of sound quality alone, (and as much as we would like to sell you one!) I think it would be hard to justify a Transporter if you are _only_ going to listen to 128K MP3. The losses incurred from that degree of compression would dwarf the improvement in DAC performance.
