You may have the same symptom as the OP but I think it is a different problem altogether.
Since wav files do not play either with or without transcoding - it looks like that either the files cannot be read or else the contents cannot be understood by both the flac app and the SB3 firmware. So system details are needed. 1. What OS are you using ? 2. How were the WAV file created ? 3.
