This is caused by the DNS servers not being online when slimserver
starts.  This status is recorded by Slimserver and subsequent attempt
are ignored because DNS was not available when Slimserve started.

To verify, try doing a debug log with selecting a station with debug
option d_parse d_http_aysnc and d_remotestream.

One user with this problem had configured the DNS settings in the
router or PC incorrectly.   Check DNS settings (usually two) of the PC
and make sure they match with your ISP.
