You can run netstat on your server PC - it may show errors. I know of one user who had a dodgy ethernet interface in the PC and the problem showed as breaks in SB audio. File transfer and Web browsing on the PC just did normal recovery so the problem was not noticeable on data transfers which were not time critical.
