Hi guys: I have my Slimserver mounting a directory via NFS, and then reading off that directory. The directory structure looks like:
mp3/iTunes Music/David Darling/Slow Music for Fast Times (CD 1) (Sorted by artist). On albums with multiple artists, there is a different "directory" for each album under each artist directory. Unfortunately Slimserver seems to view these as duplicate albums (or more importantly I get 24+ albums in the browsers, rather than 1). This is true even if I have compilations set in the server config. So do I really need to retag these files, or redirectory them, or whatever or is this just a bug? If I do need to retag/redirectory the files, is there a one-shot tool for Linux so I don't have to spend hours going through a 28,000 song library?
