You got it right; MAC TO ROUTER WIRED; SB IS WIRELESS. I've had SB running all day; no shut down today. This is best performance in weeks. But before it shuts down again, I'm still confused about this problem...
Knowing that a new network has launched in the neighbor's and it could be stepping on my signals doesn't help my situation if the problem persists. If this "happens all the time," there must be some solution out there? Also, for first two years when my SB would shut down, a simple power up of the remote would reconnect seamlessly; why do I now have to go through the "network setup" process each time this happens? And with less than 50% success rate on first several tries? Would a low wireless signal cause this? Would other signal interference? Could this be a hardware (i.e., SB) issue?
