Personally, I love my Pronto 7000. It's got plenty of hard buttons and a beautiful colour screen. I can control every IR device I own with it. (Wierdly, I still use the SB remote for intensive button pushing, but it's the only one I do that for) It's a one-way device though and you can't do stuff like display cover art on it. I got mine off ebay so it wasn't too expensive - about the same as the new SB Controller!
I know that Barry Gordon's put a lot of work into the 9600 which allows it to work directly with SlimServer and offer a much richer experience, but that's a very different remote, and last time I checked, crazily expensive.
