Look at BottleRocket -- with X-10 or Insteon appliance modules, you can use BottleRocket to have the power to your receiver supplied when your player powers on, and shut off when your player powers off. It's not as elegant as IR Blaster (which I also use -- thank you, Felix!), but it might be a good solution for the new Receiver. The gear you'd need for X-10 is a CM17A Firecracker module, a TM751 transceiver, and maybe another X-10 appliance module if the SBR is too far from the SqueezeCenter host -- $25 - $40 USD on eBay (including shipping). Additional SBRs should only need an appliance module, about $12 on eBay. -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver BottleRocket FuzzyTime SaverSwitcher SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42229 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
