Unless you are very sure of your Windows audio subsystem, I think to use "wavinput" as your main input for a Transporter may be a waste of money as Windows sometimes resamples audio up to 48kHz as well as other processing before wavinput will get it. Wavinput may have to request that the stream is resampled again to 44.1kHz.
There is a good chance the audio stream being fed to Transported is *unlikely* to be an unadulterated decode into WAV of your audio files. When you use Slimserver/Squeezecenter your audio files will be decoded by the Transport or transcoded by apps into a format suitable for the Transporter. No other processing will be performed. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42077 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
