Sorry guys, but you are slightly off the mark there...! The link provided in my OP is one of many places that can supply *silent* rack mount cases (ie they have an AC-DC converter that is fanless), the motherboard stated is also fanless. The only noise generating part will be the hard-drives - and I will mount these in acoustic frames. They also can idle at around 14 Watts. Neither the jet nor power hungry beasts we all know exist. Pat's experience is no doubt drawn from his very apparent expertise (nice web site BTW Pat!) in the electronics industry - but I fear this might not include noise critical environment deployment experience!! In the medical field, we have been taken over as expected by computers, and my passive/active IR navigation systems run silent - save for the drives!! Thanks for all the info peeps!!!
