It doesn't matter if it can be undone, it'll just turn inactive if there's no traffic to pass from the USB connection on to the Ethernet connection.
Windows calls bridging "Internet Connection Sharing" or ICS. I think this can be done from within Settings - Network. You highlight both connections and activate ICS. Unfortunately Sprint's software may prevent you from doing this, it may not present the USB Internet connection as a standard USB networking connection or it may disable ICS entirely. Try it from within the Windows environment first and see if it lets you.
