We received our A5' about three weeks ago. One channel was dead. The passive speaker worked fine but the amp output had no voltage. An email was sent and a prompt reply received. "No problem. We'll send you a new powered speaker and a return shipping order." That is exactly what happened. The new powered speaker works fine (no hum but it is not connected directly to the Squeezebox).
I'd not hesitate to recommend this company and their product.
