Hey, I'm no audiophilanthropist, just pointing something out, hence my "not to shoot your ears down" comment! I also acknowledge the fact that you use the AMPS DAC rather than the Denon's. Whilst your sentiment about the digital stream *should* be correct, there are many factors that influence the quality of the stream - just check out our very own audiophile forum or google on the subject.
