Hello, Over the past year, I've been converting my CD and LP collections to MP3 so that I can play them all through my SB3. I have my music organised on my PC's hard disk using a hierarchical a system of folders sorted by Genre \ Band Name \ Album Name. So far, I've been happy with the listening experience. One bugbear has been naming convention - as far as I can see, group/band names are extracted from the ID3 tag of the album, and not from the folder name. This means that SB can display two group entries for the same band, for example, "10cc" and "10 cc".
I was wondering if an ID3 editor tool exists that would allow me to recursively rename a specific ID3 field of all tracks located below a folder for a specific band. This would avoid the hassle of having to manually update the fields for all tracks. I'm quite new to the world of ID3 tags!
