Many thanks for the quick replies! I will look at Mp3tag. Since the original post, I've come up with another question. Is there a standardised way to classify albums by genre?
I use CDex to rip my CDs, and usually it (or rather CDDB) provides different genre classifications for different albums from the same artist. For example, the two CDs from Placebo that I have are classified as Rock and Alternative. Does anyone know if there is a standard classification for this available somewhere?
