Is this really the case, this will kill performance completely.... There is something called "sliding windows" where you have to acknowledge packets but you allow for sending new ones before ack, but at a certain point the packets may be acknowledged. For instance, by acknowledging packet #100, you're implicitly acknowledging all the previous ones. I learned about this many years ago, so I can't recall all the details.... And yes, there are many people out there suddenly having issues with their wireless with Vista, and it's Vista issue... -- haraldo Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop / SC7 -> SB3 -> Benchmark DAC1 -> Krell KAV400xi -> Meadowlark Kestrel2 / Duntech PCL-15 Everything is difficult before it's easy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ haraldo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13472 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32578 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
