It fails. It's on the context menu and when you click it, the flag that says it's stopping pops up, then fades. But it never stops. And the time I tried, killing the process in the task manager would not work. In all cases, rebooting works, obviously. I have no objection to running it as a service. How complicated is that to set up? I don't know if that would solve my problems, no nothing for them or add new problems though. For me, having it launch at startup as an application is just as good...as long as it works.
