MC, you are using flac, aren't you? Do you know if the same behavior applies when using mp3? I mean: that would be 90% of what I want, too. Regarding "duplicate" entries: Ass of Phil's comments I assume each album only shows up once. So WHERE does it actually show up (is these an order of precedence if several tags are given)? Or are you talking about the "browse by artists" menu instead of album (you wrote "artist sort").
