Michael, thanks for the link,Updated it on top of 7.0.1, at the end it still reported as being version 7.0.1. I deleted all files and did a clean install,SC in System Preferences shows 7.0.1 but the Web display status says 7.0.2 - 20990 so, maybe the update was also OK, just didn't think of looking at the Status menu. I initiated a library scan as everything was empty, 20 min/12000 songs later everything seemed up to date, so I added one CD into iTunes. Left all default settings, (Look for new and changed music changes and 3600 sec iTunes reload interval) and waited over an hour. Nothing happened, the new album does not come up under artist, album or any other menu. Squeezecenter 7.0.2 does not automatically update my library as I understood and expected. I am not sure what next now or even how is it supposed to work. Are there any other options requiring specific settings, thanks for any further help.
